Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Instructor for the MHA program in the Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as an instructor for graduate-level MHA courses, typically teaching 2-3 courses per academic year
  • Design and deliver high-quality instruction, including lectures and assessments, while maintaining office hours for student support
  • Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to ensure course content is current and aligned with learning outcomes
Required Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Healthcare Administration/Management, Business Administration/Management, or a closely related field
  • Evidence of successful teaching experience in a Healthcare Administration program in higher education
  • Demonstrated potential to contribute to research and grant activities in Healthcare Administration
  • Alternatively, a master's degree with significant professional experience in healthcare administration may be considered
  • At least 18 graduate semester hours in healthcare administration or related discipline, along with documented professional qualifications
