South Carolina Licensed Mortgage Associate

Job Summary

As a full-time remote South Carolina Licensed Mortgage Associate, the successful candidate will manage client relationships, coordinate documentation, and support sales and marketing initiatives while ensuring compliance and operational excellence in the mortgage process.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, guiding them through the loan process and maintaining clear communication
• Conduct preliminary loan file reviews and ensure compliance with investor guidelines and regulatory standards
• Create promotional materials and support marketing initiatives to generate leads and expand the sales pipeline

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in finance or business preferred
• Current NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator License or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in mortgage or financial services
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, processes, and regulatory standards
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and experience with CRM software; familiarity with Encompass loan origination software preferred
