Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient CDI Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of medical records to ensure accurate clinical documentation and coding
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve documentation practices
• Educate clinical staff on coding standards and best practices for documentation

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical, CDI, or coding fields
• 1 year of experience in HCC/Risk Adjustment preferred
• Active certification from AAPC, AHIMA, or ACDIS preferred; certification required within the first year of employment
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
