South Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Supporting the standardization and optimization of specialty pharmacy services, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription processing, provide customer service, and assist patients with medication delivery and billing while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Process prescription information and assist with accurate billing of third-party payers
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with prescriptions and coordinating medication deliveries
• Maintain patient accounts and assist with prior authorizations and appeals for denied claims

Required qualifications

• South Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• National Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• High School diploma or GED (required); Bachelor's Degree or completion of Pharmacy Technician Course (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in provider clinic, specialty, and/or retail pharmacy (required)
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
