Job Summary
Supporting the standardization and optimization of specialty pharmacy services, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage prescription processing, provide customer service, and assist patients with medication delivery and billing while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Process prescription information and assist with accurate billing of third-party payers
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with prescriptions and coordinating medication deliveries
- Maintain patient accounts and assist with prior authorizations and appeals for denied claims
Required qualifications
- South Carolina Licensed Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician License (required)
- High School diploma or GED (required); Bachelor's Degree or completion of Pharmacy Technician Course (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in provider clinic, specialty, and/or retail pharmacy (required)
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
