South Carolina Licensed Security Architect
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, a South Carolina Licensed Security Architect will design, implement, and optimize Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM and Cortex XDR within a large-scale security environment, collaborating with a 24x7 security operations center and other security professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement SIEM and XDR capabilities for multi-tenant environments
- Develop and tune detection rules, analytics, and response workflows
- Onboard and troubleshoot telemetry from various sources including cloud, endpoint, and network
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Information Security, or 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting large IT environments and system deployments
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex, XSIAM, and Cortex XDR
- Experience in developing automation and integrations using scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and incident response
