Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coder, Full Time, Days, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviews medical documentation to accurately assign ICD-10-CM/PCS and MSDRG codes
• Submits compliant queries to physicians for unclear documentation
• Abstracts key data from medical information in accordance with UHDDS requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Coding Certification Program (AHIMA or AAPC) or relevant coding courses
• 2 years of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding experience or recent graduates from an AHIMA certified HIM program
• Associates or bachelor's degree in HIM or related healthcare field preferred
• At least one active certification (RHIA/RHIT/CCS) or other credential in a health-related field preferred
