South Carolina Licensed Speech Pathologist

Job Summary

Providing virtual speech therapy to K-12 students, the full-time South Carolina Licensed Speech Pathologist will manage a caseload using online tools, ensuring compliance with educational standards and maintaining communication with students, parents, and school staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality speech language services and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment
• Conduct screenings and evaluations of students' communication needs while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support IEP goals and manage special education casework for select students

Required qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
• Active state and/or Department of Education Licensure in Speech Pathology in South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a K-12 school setting
• Strong technology skills and ability to work independently
• High degree of flexibility and excellent communication skills
