Job Summary

Evaluating and managing catastrophic episodes of illness, the full-time remote South Carolina Licensed Stop Loss RN will facilitate cost estimates for underwriting, consult on claims, and provide case management oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates cost estimates for new and renewal stop loss business
• Consults with underwriters on catastrophic episodes of illness
• Provides case management oversight between the TPA and the organization

Required qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of South Carolina
• Associates degree in a job-related field or graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• 10 years of work experience, including 5 years clinical and 5 years in medical management
• Working knowledge of managed care and healthcare delivery systems
• Experience with catastrophic claims cost and case management
