Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Underwriter to support a team by managing the underwriting process and ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the underwriting process and ensure adherence to carrier guidelines and company policies
• Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority and make underwriting decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and brokerage carriers while negotiating terms and coverages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in underwriting or brokering E&S or specialty insurance products
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Ability to independently manage the underwriting and brokerage process
• Strong knowledge of underwriting the types of accounts handled by the team
