Job Summary
To support a growing specialty insurance organization, the fully remote South Carolina Licensed Underwriter will manage new and renewal business, evaluate and price risks, and build strong agency partnerships to contribute to profitable growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing and underwriting new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
- Evaluating risks and making sound underwriting decisions within established authority
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with independent agency partners
Required qualifications:
- 15+ years of underwriting experience
- Property & Casualty license required
- Surplus Lines license required
- Knowledge of Excess & Surplus Lines insurance products and markets
- Experience developing and implementing marketing or business-development strategies
