Job Summary
Coordinating administrative functions for the credentialing and privileging process, the full-time South Carolina Medical Staff Coordinator will provide support to medical staff leaders and departments while serving as a liaison between patients, guests, and hospital staff in a primarily remote role with occasional on-site requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the credentialing and privileging process for physicians and allied health professionals
- Provide administrative support to medical staff leaders, departments, and committees
- Assist the quality department and maintain state survey readiness
Required qualifications
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with three years of relevant experience in business management or public administration
- Experience in administrative services related to healthcare operations
- Ability to work both remotely and on-site as needed
- Strong understanding of credentialing processes and healthcare regulations
- Proven experience in supporting leadership and managing administrative tasks
