South Carolina SIEM Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SIEM Engineer to support a State Government client in a 24/7 security operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SIEM platforms (IBM QRadar / Palo Alto XSIAM) and oversee their health and upgrades
• Collaborate with SOC analysts to optimize alerts, use cases, dashboards, and search queries
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide engineering support for large Splunk environments

Required Qualifications

• Experience with IBM QRadar SIEM and Palo Alto XDR / EDR / XSIAM
• Proficiency in Nessus and Cribl
• Experience in SOC/SIEM engineering and log source integration
• Knowledge of use case and alert configuration
• Proficiency in QVM and Nessus scanning
