South Carolina Supervising Physician
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time PRN Supervising Physician will collaborate with Advanced Practice Provider Injectors to provide medical recommendations, supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and ensure adherence to clinical standards while being physically located in South Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Provide medical recommendations in collaboration with Dr. Allen and provider Injectors for patients in the designated service area
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, cosigning documentation as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with federal and state health information privacy laws
Required qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license in South Carolina
- Board Certification in the area of expertise
- Minimum 1-year previous working experience as an acting physician
- Compassionate and caring demeanor with respect for NPs and PAs
- Must hold a New York License
