Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nurse Practitioner Behavioral Health (Full time) - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and staff for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in various settings
• Assess patients for acute suicide and violence risk and recommend appropriate care levels
• Place direct admit orders for inpatient behavioral health and assist in developing Crisis Response Plans

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program
• Master's or Doctorate degree required
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in South Dakota and Minnesota
• Federal and State DEA certification required within 9 months of hire
