Job Summary

A company is looking for an Order Entry Certified Pharmacy Technician I.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and process incoming prescription orders accurately using the Guardian computer system
• Verify insurance coverage and update patient and doctor information as needed
• Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and front-end partners to ensure timely medication shipping

Required Qualifications

• Certification from NPTCB and ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License in dispensing states
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy abbreviations
• One year of relevant work experience
• High School diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills and typing skills of 30-50 wpm
