Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist - Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) - FT Days.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive medical record documentation
• Code and review home health documentation, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Provide education on compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues to internal customers

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required or seven years of equivalent work experience
• Three years of recent clinical nursing experience required
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure
• HCS-D coding certification and current OASIS certification required
• Home health experience is a must
