Job Summary

To expand access to expert infectious disease care, the part-time South Dakota Licensed Infectious Disease Specialist will provide virtual consultations, collaborate with healthcare teams, and guide antimicrobial stewardship in a remote telemedicine environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on-demand consultations via phone or video to partner facilities
• Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients
• Review patient results and make tailored recommendations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Infectious Disease
• Active DEA certification
• Board Certification in Infectious Disease
• Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
