Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the contract Mental Health Counselor will provide therapy services to clients remotely, set their own hours, and manage a flexible caseload while earning competitive compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapy-focused sessions to clients via video and messaging
• Manage intake and discharge processes while ensuring documentation is completed accurately
• Set flexible hours and caseload, working fully remotely without the need for marketing or outreach

Required qualifications

• Active South Dakota state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent
• CAQH# for independent practice capability
• Ability to provide therapy services without claims, billing, or reimbursement work
• Experience in telehealth counseling or virtual therapy environments
• Commitment to maintaining a flexible and client-focused practice
