Job Summary

To support a growing tele-optometry practice, South Dakota Licensed Optometrists will examine patients remotely using patented technology, communicate through specialized video conferencing, and analyze eye health while generating prescriptions for eyewear.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients in the state of South Dakota using remote technology
• Communicate with patients through specialized video conferencing tools
• Analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses with technician support

Required qualifications

• Valid South Dakota Optometry license
• Experience with remote patient examinations is preferred
• Ability to use video conferencing technology effectively
• Multiple state licenses are a plus
• Willingness to undergo any necessary credentialing and training
