South Dakota Licensed Special Education Teacher

Job Summary

To support the upcoming school year, a full-time South Dakota Licensed Special Education Teacher will manage special education case loads, coordinate IEP meetings, and provide direct instruction in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee special education caseloads in compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings and annual reviews
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with general education teachers and families to support student success

Required qualifications:

• Active South Dakota Special Education Teacher Certification
• Minimum of one year of experience in special education case management and/or instruction preferred
• Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with school teams
