South Dakota Licensed Therapist

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual clinic, the full-time South Dakota Licensed Therapist will provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team and maintaining a caseload of 30-40 patients remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy, including family-based treatment (FBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT-E), to patients with eating disorders
• Maintain quality documentation and conduct ongoing assessments of patients' and families' needs
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and patient mentors to ensure comprehensive care

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted, and independent license to practice psychotherapy in South Dakota
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of patients with varying degrees of acuity and backgrounds
• Commitment to providing care during evenings, specifically until 8pm two nights per week
• Passion for evidence-based treatment and mental health, particularly in eating disorder care
• Experience in delivering care in a virtual setting
