Southeast Deputy Director

Job Summary

To support a regional education research initiative, the full-time Southeast Deputy Director will oversee technical and operational management of a multi-state research center, coordinating staff, partnerships, and projects while ensuring alignment with goals and quality assurance, with a requirement to be based in the southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Support oversight and coordination of research partnerships and projects across the southern region
• Manage day-to-day center operations, tracking deliverables, milestones, and compliance processes
• Provide technical guidance on project implementation and ensure work products meet stakeholder needs

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred in education, public policy, social sciences, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in education research or technical assistance initiatives
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated record of research dissemination and publication
• Experience working with state education agencies, local education agencies, or other education stakeholders
