SOX Compliance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOX Compliance Consultant to lead SOX business process control design and implementation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to assess impacts of business changes on SOX controls
• Assist control owners in creating compliant processes and procedures for SOX
• Identify and correct gaps in internal control designs related to financial reporting risk

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accountant
• 6+ years of relevant work experience, including Big 4 public accounting and compliance or audit experience at a publicly traded company
• Advanced knowledge of SOX requirements and U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606
• Understanding of SEC reporting requirements related to financial statements
