SOX Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOX Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct process walkthroughs to document controls and identify potential control gaps
• Perform tests of design and operating effectiveness of key controls over financial reporting
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and communicate findings to management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience, or an Associate degree with 8 years, or a High School diploma with 9 years of related experience
• 5-10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related fields, with knowledge of SOX compliance
• Preferred degree in accounting, finance, business, data analytics, or IT/MIS
• Progression towards professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or PMP
• United States citizenship required
