Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOX Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct process walkthroughs to document controls and identify potential control gaps
• Perform control testing to assess the design and operating effectiveness of key controls over financial reporting
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and track remediation progress for compliance with SOX

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or SOX compliance
• Preferred experience includes 5+ years in accounting, finance, or internal audit
• Progression towards professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or PMP
• United States citizenship required
