A company is looking for a Space Survivability/Radiation Effects Engineer to support radiation environment-related tasks in satellite programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in nuclear radiation hardness for space programs
  • Collaborate with engineers to address radiation-related design concerns
  • Plan and conduct testing to ensure compliance with radiation requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Ten years of experience in space environments and radiation effects
  • Experience in dose rate testing, including total ionizing dose and displacement damage testing
  • Experience in prompt dose analysis of electronic units
  • Experience with government contracts related to nuclear effects
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is preferred
