Space Security Policy Consultant

Job Summary

Leading the development of comprehensive analytical reports, the part-time Space Security Policy Consultant will conduct in-depth research on international space law, focusing on the Outer Space Treaty and its implications for national security, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on the Outer Space Treaty and its interpretations by the United States, Russia, and China
• Develop analytical reports identifying security risks and opportunities for cooperation and policy alignment
• Synthesize findings into clear written deliverables, including formal reports and briefing materials for senior stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Political Science, Law, Security Studies, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in policy analysis, international security, or space-related programs
• Demonstrated experience researching international treaties and legal frameworks
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex geopolitical issues
• Excellent written communication skills, including experience producing formal reports and briefings
