Job Summary

A company is looking for a Spain Payroll Subject Matter Expert to support their Payroll Operations team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Spanish payroll for approximately 300 associates and ensure compliance with regulations
• Act as a subject matter expert on Spanish payroll regulations, providing guidance on tax, pension, and labor law
• Validate and audit payroll cycles, support documentation, and assist in onboarding a new payroll team member

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Spanish payroll, including expats and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of taxation, pension schemes, social security, and union agreements in Spain
• Experience performing payroll audits and validations
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English
• Able to work CET business hours
