Spanish Bilingual Academic Advisor

Job Summary

Supporting learners in a remote setting, the Spanish Bilingual Academic Advisor will guide employees through academic planning and progress support while building strong relationships with education partners in this contract position with potential for permanence.

Key responsibilities

• Guide employees through their educational pathways and maintain consistent outreach throughout their academic journey
• Coach participants on setting academic objectives and connect them with tutoring and support services as needed
• Track deadlines and milestones, leading check-ins to evaluate progress and recognize accomplishments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; master's degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in academic advising, coaching, or higher education support
• Demonstrated success supporting adult learners or non-traditional student populations preferred
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory
• Comfort with computer-based systems and customer support tools, including CRM platforms
