Spanish Language Programming Specialist

Job Summary

Driving the expansion of services for Spanish-speaking audiences, the full-time Spanish Language Programming Specialist will produce Spanish-language content, collaborate with teams to adapt existing offerings, and develop new programming while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage Spanish language programming across all services to meet the needs of Spanish-speaking journalists and scientists
• Collaborate with English-language teams to translate and adapt content for Spanish audiences
• Contribute to training materials and workshops for Spanish-speaking audiences and represent the organization at events

Required qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and experience in journalism or content creation in both English and Spanish
• Educational background in science or a demonstrated understanding of scientific processes
• Experience developing and leading events for scientific or journalistic audiences
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in science and journalism
• Ability to work independently while valuing collaborative inputs
