Spanish Managing Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managing Editor: Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end editorial process, including content planning, creation, editing, and distribution
• Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and curriculum standards
• Lead and manage a team of editors and contractors, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Teaching, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience as an editor with a strong background in content and curriculum development
• Advanced High or native proficiency in Spanish and English
• Proven leadership experience in an editorial capacity
• Familiarity with ACTFL World-Readiness Standards and experience in educational publishing is a plus
