Spanish to English Legal Translator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Spanish to English - Legal (Judiciary) Translator, Editor, and/or Transcriber - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate translation, editing, and transcription of legal documents and audio files from English to Spanish
• Edit legal documents and audio transcriptions, ensuring the use of appropriate legal terminology
• Review and certify the quality of other translators' work as needed

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo a government background check
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in legal documentation and translation/editing between English and a foreign language
• Experience in audio transcription with relevant software proficiency
• Familiarity with legal terminology in both English and Spanish
