Special Assets Officer

Job Summary

Special Assets Officer is a full-time position responsible for managing delinquent real estate loan accounts and minimizing loan losses while ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage specialty collection portfolios by contacting members and coordinating recovery actions
• Recommend loss mitigation strategies through thorough assessments of account information
• Support legal recovery efforts by collaborating with attorneys and third-party vendors

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Consumer Credit Counselling Certificate preferred
• Minimum three years' experience in real estate and/or consumer collections
• Experience with PACER, COVIUS, FREDDIE MAC SERVICING, and Temenos is desired
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
