Job Summary
Bringing deep special education expertise to support educators, the part-time 1099 AI Solutions Consultant, Special Education will design, test, and refine AI-supported workflows for processes such as IEP development and evaluations, while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a special education subject matter expert to design AI-supported solutions for special education workflows
- Collaborate with educators to identify pain points and translate needs into practical AI solutions
- Test and refine AI-generated outputs for accuracy and alignment with high-quality special education practices
Required qualifications
- Significant professional experience in K-12 special education as a practitioner, leader, or consultant
- Strong knowledge of federal special education requirements and processes
- Deep familiarity with key special education documents and workflows, including IEPs and evaluations
- Experience synthesizing multiple sources of student information for decision-making
- Comfort using generative AI tools and interest in applying AI to solve problems for educators
