Job Summary

A company in the Education industry is looking for a Special Education Substitute.

Position Responsibilities

• Consulting with students, Learning Coaches, and school personnel to ensure successful completion of instructional program
• Acting as teacher of record during absences or vacancies ranging from 2-20 weeks
• Supporting instructional program through synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions

Qualifications

• Highly qualified and certified as a special educator in Kansas
• Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting
• Strong technology skills
