Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Education Teacher for a virtual academy.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings and ensure appropriate placement and development of individual education plans
Collaborate with general education teachers to provide accommodations and services to special needs learners
Implement transition services for special education students and serve as a resource for campus staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education
Knowledge of federal and state special education law and ARD Committee process
Experience with IEP development and implementation
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
