Special Education Teacher - Washington Telehealth

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Education Teacher for a virtual position in the 23/24 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of students with varying grades, disabilities, and classroom styles
• Work as an independent contractor through telehealth to provide direct and indirect support to students
• Undergo technical screening to demonstrate proficiency in the Zoom platform

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Special Education
• Active WA Special Education Licensure
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an onsite school district
• Ability to work as an independent contractor in a 1099 role
• Preference for full-time availability, but part-time positions are also considered
