Job Summary

Supporting sales activities, the full-time Specialty Benefits Analyst will create Stop Loss insurance proposals for new and renewal group business while working remotely and leveraging knowledge of stop-loss and self-funding arrangements.

Key responsibilities
  • Collaborate with external stop-loss vendors to secure quotes and analyze data for proposal development
  • Consult with insurance carriers to clarify group needs and ensure competitive quotes, while managing proposal information in Salesforce
  • Maintain the accuracy of Stop Loss documentation and internal reports, updating marketing materials as industry trends change
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3 years of experience in the health insurance or healthcare industry with knowledge of benefit products and self-funded rating arrangements
  • Previous experience in a business analyst role within a healthcare organization is preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of stop loss and self-funded markets
  • Ability to analyze data and make timely decisions based on findings
