Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Administrator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between retail and specialty pharmacy and prescribers to manage prior authorization requests
  • Negotiate pricing, process claims, and maintain accurate records within the member's QicLink page
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to enhance service and implement specialty carve-out programs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmacy and medical benefits, including prior authorization
  • Knowledge of specialty medications and their administration preferred
  • Experience with medication use in specific medical areas such as oncology or infectious disease preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
