Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialty Pharmacy Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between retail and specialty pharmacy and prescribers to manage prior authorization requests
- Negotiate pricing, process claims, and maintain accurate records within the member's QicLink page
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to enhance service and implement specialty carve-out programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmacy and medical benefits, including prior authorization
- Knowledge of specialty medications and their administration preferred
- Experience with medication use in specific medical areas such as oncology or infectious disease preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
