Job Summary
To support Gastroenterology, General Surgery, and Family Medicine providers, the part-time Specialty Scheduling Assistant will coordinate and manage scheduling for screening colonoscopies and EGDs while collaborating with physicians and departmental leadership in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for various medical providers to ensure optimized schedules
- Collaborate with physicians and departmental leadership to maintain efficient scheduling practices
- Ensure adherence to patient safety standards and implement safety protocols
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Post high school secretarial training preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience working with EPIC in a clinic setting preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience with procedure scheduling or referrals
- Minimum of one year of customer service and Microsoft Office experience
