Job Summary
Coordinating and managing scheduling for Gastroenterology, General Surgery, and Family Medicine providers, the full-time Specialty Scheduling Assistant will ensure optimized schedules for screening colonoscopies and EGDs while working remotely and participating in on-site training.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage scheduling for various medical providers to ensure efficient appointment flow
- Collaborate with physicians and departmental leadership to maintain thorough and optimized schedules
- Support patient safety standards and implement safety protocols in scheduling practices
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Post high school secretarial training preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience working with EPIC in a clinic setting preferred
- Minimum of one year of experience with procedure scheduling or referrals
- Minimum of one year of customer service and Microsoft Office experience
