Job Summary
Supporting Navy acquisition and modernization programs, the full-time Spectrum Engineer will provide technical expertise in spectrum management and electromagnetic compatibility while working remotely and adhering to East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise on spectrum management and electromagnetic compatibility for Navy systems across various domains
- Conduct technical analyses, including interference assessments and operational feasibility studies for RF and spectrum-dependent systems
- Prepare and submit spectrum certification packages and support compliance with relevant spectrum regulations and standards
Required qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required; active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in spectrum engineering or related RF engineering functions
- Experience with spectrum certification and frequency allocation activities
- Knowledge of NTIA Manual requirements and DoD spectrum policies
