Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist for the 24-25 school year in Tallahassee, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, speech, and language functioning
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and stakeholders to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students individually and in group settings
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting, preferably in a virtual environment
- Strong understanding of the principles of assessment, intervention, and consultation in speech pathology
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms and technology to deliver services and conduct assessments
