Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Splunk Engineer to join its cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based Splunk environments for enterprise monitoring, alerting, and reporting
• Provide operational support and configuration for Splunk systems in a hybrid Unix/Linux and cloud environment
• Perform off-hours and weekend maintenance, upgrades, and support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years of overall IT/cyber experience, with 5+ years of hands-on experience with Splunk
• Proven experience with large enterprise-wide Splunk environments and architecture
• Advanced knowledge of Unix/Linux systems administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation tasks
