Job Summary

A company is looking for a Splunk Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Manage communications regarding outages, service impacts, and Splunk infrastructure events
Monitor system health and apply proactive measures or escalate issues to the engineering team
Perform after-action reports and root-cause analysis with the architecture and engineering team

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Splunk experience, including data ingestion and product engineering
8+ years of Linux experience
5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python
5+ years of experience with CI/CD technologies like Ansible and Jenkins
Experience managing and troubleshooting cloud and on-premise infrastructure, specifically AWS
