Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance enterprise observability and operational monitoring, the remote Splunk Engineer will design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards, optimize data onboarding initiatives, and perform log analysis across application and infrastructure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts for various monitoring needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and support onboarding of new data sources
• Analyze network telemetry and operational data to improve performance monitoring and troubleshooting efforts

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Splunk
• Strong expertise in Search Processing Language (SPL) and dashboard development
• Experience with network operational data analysis, including Syslog and SNMP
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands for log analysis and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts and monitoring best practices
