Job Summary

Supporting the management of grants and contracts, the full-time Sponsored Projects Administrator will perform administrative and financial duties, assist with proposal preparation, and ensure compliance with regulations while working onsite in Eugene, OR, with potential for remote arrangements.

Key responsibilities
  • Intake, review, and submit proposal documents for sponsored projects, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines
  • Monitor and approve sponsored project funds for allowability and consistency while managing post-award functions
  • Review award notifications and set up accounts, inputting budgets and ensuring compliance with special terms and conditions
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or two or more years of relevant office or compliance experience
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations related to research compliance
  • Proficiency with information technology, including data entry and database administration
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
