Job Summary

Managing pre and post award activities for an assigned portfolio of contracts, the full-time Sponsored Research Contract Administrator will provide guidance on compliance and budget management while serving as a liaison among university stakeholders and funding agencies in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee contract administration, ensuring adherence to federal and non-federal regulations, including FAR and CFR guidelines
  • Monitor and report on budget management for awarded contracts, maintaining accurate records in university systems
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between principal investigators, faculty, staff, and funding agency representatives
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • CRA and/or Contract Certification(s) and a master's degree are preferred
  • Experience with contract management in aeronautical research funding agencies is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
