Sports Broadcast Technician

Job Summary

To provide operational support for live sports programming, the full-time Sports Broadcast Operations Center Technician will manage broadcast scheduling, signal acquisition, and quality assurance while working remotely in New York, NY.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor, schedule, and execute live sports broadcasts across satellite and digital platforms, ensuring quality control and signal routing
• Operate and troubleshoot broadcast technologies to resolve issues promptly and minimize customer impact
• Coordinate with various teams and third-party providers to support live broadcasts, documenting incidents and escalating operational risks as necessary

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in broadcast operations
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with digital audio editing, broadcast automation, and live sports broadcast operations
• Familiarity with broadcast technologies and incident management platforms
• Strong knowledge of major North American professional and collegiate sports
