Sports Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced sports medicine physicians, the part-time Sports Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical and strategic insight to evaluate and support healthcare startups focused on musculoskeletal care, injury prevention, and innovation, all in a flexible remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups related to sports medicine and musculoskeletal care
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups, assessing business models, clinical relevance, and social impact potential
• Advise on sports medicine workflows and commercialization strategies for portfolio companies and healthcare entrepreneurs

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing sports medicine
• Board certification or fellowship training in sports medicine preferred
• Experience in musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation, and healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of sports medicine workflows and patient care pathways
• Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
